Today was my dear son's birthday so this weeks photograph of the week is just a quick taster of that.
We're a lot more settled into our new home now so regular Potw's should resume at a somewhat higher standard.

I saw this little scene in my garden this afternoon and snapped it quickly before my son started doing something I had to go worry about.

It reminded me of that Eminem song that Dido sung on... That seemed reason enough to use this as my photo of the week rather than a flower macro.

I don't think i'll ever stop taking pictures like this... one day I might be good at taking pictures like this. ;)

A photograph of one of my son's toys that was sitting on the floor in our lounge as the late afternoon sun beamed down through the garden window. It's quite fun to photograph toys laying around, they're often very colourfull and make for interesting shots, depending on the composition ofcourse.

I think my depth of field was probably a tad too shallow for this image but still.
